Summit Youth

Current Memory Verse:

Romans 12:1-2 "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2

What is Summit Youth?

Summit Youth is an interactive youth ministry that is being built on one-on-one discipleship priciples. Our desire is that when students become involved with our ministry they will be mentored and discipled in the faith being, taught to read the Bible, pray, memorize Scripture, and share their faith. The 'Summit' symbolizes our pursuit of Godliness as presented in 1 Timothy 4:7 "Train yourself for Godliness." We desire to equip students with the tools and skills necessary to reach that "Summit" of Christ-likeness!

Summit Youth ministers to students who've entered grades 6th through 12th.

Our Schedule:
Summit Wednesday Nights:
@ 6:00ish we bring a van through the Lahoma area to pick up students. Call or text 580.399.4611 to get a ride

@ 7:00 - 8:00 pm - Summit Youth: This Spring we'll focus on "The Gospel." What is it? Who's it for? Why is it important? Why should we talk about it? Etc.!

Sunday Mornings:
10: am - Sunday School - We're in a series called "How to Study Your Bible"

Sunday Summit Groups:
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm - Summit Groups is an hour on Sunday afternoons where we gather in groups with the sole purpose of discussing ways to put into daily practice what was taught on the previous Wednesday evening.  In this way, Wednesday Summit Youth fuels our Sunday Summit Groups, thus helping students initiate a growing discipleship relationship with God through Christ Jesus.
